Besides the well-known tourist attractions as royal citadel, imperial tombs, pagodas, etc. Hue owns a peaceful and wonderful countryside resting a lots of traditional handicraft villages.Meeting with craftsmen in the cycling tour will bring you more interesting Hue’s cultural perspectives.
You’ll be picked and transferred to Toa Kham Boat Station, where we take a Dragon Boat Trip on the romantic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda – the most iconic and most well-known Buddhist site of Hue.
Another short boat ride then cycle to Tiger Arena and Trumpeting Elephant, followed by Emperor Tu Duc’s Tomb – one of the most beautifully designed complexes among the tombs of the Nguyen dynasty. Then visit some traditional Incense village, where you would love to make some incense. This will be followed by a lunch at a well known Vietnamese restaurant Thien Tam, where you can enjoy the best Vegetarian food of Hue and watch our artist finish an amazing painting in just 5 minutes.
After lunch, keep cycling to Khai Dinh Tomb along the river with fabulous countryside roads. These are the most interesting and unique cycling roads in Hue city. After visiting Khai Dinh Tomb, we cycle back to the city and visit Mrs. Thuy – a very gifted local lady who makes conical hats on the way back. Trip ends around 17h00.
