Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival
Transfer via: International flight – your arrangement
Up on arrival in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by Vietnam Typical Tours car and driver, transferred to hotel in the city center, check in and relax.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour, night train to Lao Cai (Sapa) (B, L)
Have breakfast at hotel.
8.00: We’ll pick you up from your hotel take you to visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho – and President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969.
9.30: You’ll visit the One Pillar Pagoda, which is actually a group of structures that collectively make up a pagoda built over the water in the middle of a square lake.
After that, you’ll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shore of west lake. From there, it’s onto the Temple of literature, which was Viet nam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius.
You’ ll stop in at MUSEUM OF ETHNOLOGY.This superb museum showcases the depth of Vietnamese cultural diversity with an astounding collection of 15,000 artifacts gathered from throughout Vietnam. Maps, displays and dioramas are labelled in Vietnamese, French and English.Displays portray a typical village market, the making of comical hats and a Tay shamanic ceremony; videos show the real thing. You can also check out a traditional Black Thai house reconstructed in the museum. There’s also a centre for research and conservation where scientists from all over the world study traditional Vietnamese cultures.
City tour finish at 4h30 pm and you will have free time to relax and dinner.
20.30: Our tour assistant picks you up from your hotel to go to Tran Quy Cap station. He will lead you to your cabin on the train.
21.00: Sapa train departs. Overnight on train. Travel time approx 9 hrs.

Day 3: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa (B, L, D) 7 km.
After Breakfast, you will take the trail uphill, passing fascinating terraced rice field and some small hamlets of the H’mong before getting through a bamboo forest to a waterfall, enjoy a break for magnificent scenery and then continue walking for half an hour to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao peoples which sits on the top of a hill and looks down Muong Hoa river. After spending time visiting the village, making friend with the Zao and experiencing the hospitality you will cross the river by another suspension bridge and then uphill again to Su Pan village where you will pay visiting to a local handicraft center where H’mong and Zao women gather for exchanging experience and skill of making handicrafts. A late Lunch will be prepare here nearby this center.
Later a drive will take you back to Sapa, take a shower and enjoy dinner at our restaurant.

Day 4: Sapa – Silver Waterfall – Love Waterfall – Tram Ton Pass (6km trekking, 2 hour trekking) (B, L)
Have breakfast at the hotel.
08:00 A.M, We begin by driving to Love Waterfall and on the way you see the great views of Hoang Lien Mountain Range and some plantations of roses and vegetables in the valley. The car will stop at the Tram Ton Pass which at 2,047 meters is the highest road in Vietnam, then you will walk about 1.1 km along the Golden Stream to see the Love Waterfall. After this walk the car will drive you to Silver Waterfall. You have 30 minutes to walk around this area and enjoy the stunning views of the mountains and the valley.
Back Sapa hotel to have lunch and have free time.
After relax we have shower and dinner before bus pick up back Train station.

Day 5: Hanoi – Tam Coc – Thung Nham bird park (B, L, D)
Our staff will pick up you from train station at 5h30 am and transfer you to our office for relaxing.
Depart from Hanoi at 8:00 AM, we drive southward to Ninh Binh province. After getting out of the busy streets of the city, the smooth drive on National Highway No1 through the farm land will offer you a good start of the day with the views of the countryside: rice fields, villages…
About 10.00 AM, we will arrive at Tam Coc boat operation place where you will get on a sampan-boat for 2-hour ride along a scenic river. The local rower is gently rowing us in between towering limestone mountains and through three caves. There are a lot of beautiful stalactites of different shapes hanging down from the ceiling. The landscape is so dramatic that it has been considered as “Inland Halong Bay”. After that, we will go to a local restaurant nearby for a Vietnamese lunch.
In the afternoon, we will embark on a cycling tour to visit this peaceful countryside. Start pedaling through the rice field and villages. This is a great chance for you to learn about Vietnamese agriculture and the daily life of the local rustics. Then to Thung Nham bird park, discover the most features of this area with more than 4000 birds of 40 species flying to inhabit every day. Your best chance to take nice photos.
Check in your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day. Overnight in Ninh Binh Ecoledge.
Day 6: Cuc Phuong National Park Trek (B, L, D)
After your breakfast and checking out of your hotel, at 8:00 AM,we will get transferred to Cuc Phuong National Park which is about 1,5 hours away. Upon arrival at the park’s gate, the tour guide will get the permit and buy the sightseeing tickets, then we continue on our drive to Bong Sub-center. This 30-minute drive in the green offers you an exciting feeling for the hike later. After getting ready with trekking shoes, insect spraying…, we embark on the 3-hour hike on a small path. This is a great chance for you to enjoy the forest atmosphere, admire the diversity of the tropical flora system. Along the way, we are able to stop as often as we want for watching huge trees, looking for birds, butterflies, wildlife and taking photographs. Get back on the private vehicle afterward and return to the Park’s headquater. We will have a short stop on the way to visit the cave of prehistoric man.
Followed by our late lunch at the park’s headquarter.
In the afternoon, we will take a short walk to visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center where we will have a chance to see some different species of Vietnam’s rare colorful langurs, and learn about the center’s rescue program. We then go on to visit the Turtle Conservation Center, this is another flagship for efforts to protect tortoise and freshwater turtles in Vietnam.
About 3:30 PM, we start driving back to Ninh Binh Ecolodge.
Overnight in Ninh Binh Ecoledge.
Day 7: Open options (B, L )
Option 1: This day we will arrive at Van Long boat operation place where you will get on a sampan-boat for 1,5-hour ride to discover the unspoilt beauty of this nature reserve. If you are lucky enough, you will able to see the so-call White-Short langurs. This primate species is beleived to be unique and only be found in Vietnam. After that, we will go to a local restaurant nearby for a Vietnamese lunch. In the afternoon we get on car back Hanoi.
Option 2: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda: We spend time to visit the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters height, 100 tons weight.
Have lunch at local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel.
In the afternoon we get on car back Hanoi.
Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 8: Hanoi – Departure (B)
Transfer via: International flight – your arrangement
Free until transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Trips end!
