People and Nho Que River seem to be so tiny among big mountains. You can see here and there the locals in their colorful dresses working on the terraced fields. DETAIL ITINENARY

Day 1 : Hanoi – Ha Giang (L, D)

7 h30 am morning you will be picked up by our guide and driver, and then we will depart from Hanoi to Ha Giang. The drive to Ha Giang takes around 7 hours but is some of the most breathtaking in Vietnam. On the way we will stopover at some places to visit small villages and take photos. After the long drive, we will take a short walk around Ha Giang to visit a Tay and Nung village, set in a picturesque valley near town. Tonight we will overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 2 : Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van (B, L)

In te morning: we pick you up from your hotel at 6:30 am and have breakfast. After
that we will departure going to Dong Van, on the way going to Dong Van we visit
Bac sum sloping street, Quan Ba heaven gate, Fairy moutain, Tam son town and have lunch in Yen Minh town.
In the afternoon: we are visitting Sung la village this is village of white H’Mong people, the place in the movie Pao’s story, enjoy nice view and visit traditional house of local people in there and the we to visit H’ mong King palace – Vuong Chi sinh. Over night at Hotel in Dong Van town.

Day 3: Dong Van Town (B, L, D)

This morning you will have breakfast at hotel and then we vist Dong Van market – trading place among ethnic minorities such as Tay, Nung, Han, Hmong, Hoa, Dao and Kinh. Each group of people eagerly travel to the market, with pedestrians carrying baskets of vegetables, fruits, chicken cages, bird cages, buffaloes, cows, and those on bicycles and motorbikes transporting bundles of goods or small pigs. Others are dressed in colourful ethnic costumes and come to the market from hamlets far away just for fun and entertainment.

After having lunch in the town we then trekking to Rocky Mountain to see over view of Dong Van town as well as countryside.

Day 4 : Dong Van – Meo Vac – Quan Ba (B, L, D)

We have breakfast at hotel and then drive the scenic journey up through rugged outcrops to the beautiful town of Meo Vac. 

On the way we will see the Ms Pi Leng Pass – the name of the rugged pass of Ha Giang, about 20 km long. It is located on the road called “Happiness”, connecting Ha Giang city, Dong Van district, and Meo Vac town. Ma Pi Leng in Mandarin is “horse’s nose”, that mean the horse that goes through the pass will also stop breathing.
Set amongst towering mountains, Meo Vac is home to some H’mong and Hoa farming families.
The scenery up here is breathtakingly beautiful. As the sun sets, we descend due south to Quan Ba where we stay overnight in a traditional wooden stil-house.

Day 5 : Quan Ba – Hanoi (B, L)

After having breakfast, we check out and visit the market In Quan Ba and have free time for some coffee before get on car back Hanoi. We have lunch and fresh on the way.

We arrival Hanoi at around 5h30 pm. Drop off at your hotel.

Ha Giang Trekking tour 5 days offers you the highlights of the region driving along the main road, visiting typical places that can not be missed when visiting the province. The tour is type of driving one, most of your time is spent in the car for driving from A to B but we will do our best to give you good paces so that you won’t feel tiring of doing the tour activities.

Average driving speed on the mountian roads is 35km per hour.

Accommodation is expected to be basic but the top of the areas will be used for your best confort possible.
Food is very local, too. There is no western food to expect except bread, fried eggs for breakfast at some places. Meals are at local food stores but we always choose the most acceptable one.
